Birthday Party for Others

These 9-year-old Chicago Heights twins don't want their friends to bring them gifts for their birthday this year.  They  want people to come to their party with gifts for other kids!

Check out the article about Angela and Anita Ramos in the Southtown Star.  Their Mom works at a social service agency  called Respond Now, so she says her kids know how lucky they are to have a loving family and lots of toys.  That's why they want to help other kids this Christmas.  Here's what Angela told the Southtown Star:

"We want children in need to have a wonderful Christmas. And we want them to get lots of toys."

They decided to bump their birthday party up a month so they could donate the gifts in time for Christmas.  Their party will be held next weekend at Respond Now.

You can contact Respond Now to find out how to donate gifts!
