Matchmaker, matchmaker make me a match! Eric and Kathy, hosts of the morning show on 101.9 The Mix are playing matchmaker again.
Their goal is to set up a couple each year for a "Summer Fling" filled with fun dates and appearances.
But last month, one of their former "flings" became something much more! Watch the video below from Thursday night's "Parachute on the Patio at the Pier" event to see how Eric and Kathy are inspiring love connections:

At a bar while in college. It was the Dungeon in Dubuque, Iowa, almost 40 years ago. Those were the days:)

We were both really drunk at a college party of a mutual friend. His friend tried to hit on me and somehow managed to spill my drink all over me, so I took a look at my (now) husband who was sitting the the corner & told him we should go on a walk (cause I wanted to make out with him).
Great story, hopefully they will have a fun summer!!
My husband got sent to hook up my computer my first day of college freshman year, when I offered to give him a few bucks, he said to take him out for a drink instead! :)
Love can be found anywhere! Even on the radio!!
The first time I met my fiance was at a friend’s going away party the summer of 2008. Little did I know that as I was saying “bye” to one friend, I was making another. That night I didn’t pay much attention to him other than just saying “Hi” when we were introduced. Fast forward about a month and our paths crossed again at a birthday party for another friend. This time we actually talked for a while as we realized we had more mutual friends. He added me on Facebook that same night! We quickly became best friends and the rest is history… Our wedding is next month!
My husband and I met while working at a bar in college....I thought he was bossy..ha.:)

My husband and I met at a bar. We were both there with friends. I waved him over to me on the dance floor. He left his business card with my girlfriend when I went to the bathroom and his friends wanted to leave. I called him at 3 am the same night. We went on our first date the following Thursday and the rest is history! 8 years and counting...yeah!

My husband and I first met in an online chat room. We would randomly chat online and soon realized that we had many of the same friends, went to the same high school, and lived in close proximity to eachother. We were surprised we hadn't met earlier!

My husband and I met in the apartment building we lived at in Chicago after college. We were next door neighbors!

On a blind date. We didn't hit it off at first, but ran into each other again weeks later at a party. Now here we are 13 years later. I guess sometimes it just takes a second chance.
